Piracy

Not that I would dream of using illegal sites to watch football, but it seems that the Premier League is about to take a tough stand over the streaming of their matches over the internet.

It's about choice really.

Obviously when a game is live on Sky then these websites get less traffic, it's used mainly when fans' team are playing away from home at Saturday 3pm.

The broadcasters could correct this if they wanted to do so by actually showing these games.

But the problem then becomes about attendances when there's too many people watching live on Sky.

What should happen is that clubs take hits with ticket prices when they're getting so much of Sky's money.
