Wow. So Clarke is no more a selector. That's going to be a problem for him. What if Australia decides to recall Katich? He is better than the current crop they got. I still think Ponting, Hussey and Katich are good enough to be part of Australia team. They can outperform cowan, warner, Jaques with ease. They are the best chance Australia got if they want to put a fight and avoid a wash. Recall them.

It may be blessing in disguise of sacking Arthur at this time.

Lehmann the Boof himself does't really come across as very disciplined man. It would be interesting if he turns the current team into bullies of 2000s. And Warner is on right track for such a reputation. In any case at this point a win/draw is what matters the most to Aussies.

Lehmann's IPL team didn't really caught any one eye with their sup par performances. So it must be his domestic record is what convinced the CA. Oh well we will know in few days. I love the ashes drama. It keeps getting better and better.
