ICC have dropped Asad Rauf and Billy Bowden from ICC's Elite list of umpires. I knew Rauf is under investigation but does any one know why Bowden?
Is it getting hard to find quality umpires now?
2 new umpires added to the ICC elite lists are > Richard Illingworth and Paul Reiffel. BCCI has got so much of money, it is really surprising to see India has produced not a single quality umpire after 'Venkat Raghavan' retired. It's a shame out of so many players no one turned to be a good umpire in India. Credit where it is due, Pak have got more umpires in ICC than India. SL's Dharmasena proving to be quality umpire. I can see him handling big games in upcoming events.
Thoughts guys?
Umpires

The following umpires seemed to favour India:
Aleem Dar
Kumar Dharmasena
Steve Davis
Marais Erasmus
Ian Gould
Tony Hill
Richard Kettleborough
Nigel Llong
Bruce Oxenford
Rod Tucker
Billy Bowden
Asad Rauf
Let us hope Richard Illingworth and Paul Reiffel don't fall in line quickly.

Kash is my hero regarding match threads whenever India is playing for sure. Anyways you know how much respect I have as my hero but please don't be so biased in your reasoning. Dharmasena has given many decisions against India too but you fail to ignore and India too got rough decisions in that series e.g pujara's wicket who was in form. No matter England won the series fair and square. Lot of time dravid, ganguly, sachin etc got rough decisions in England by the umpires too so by your reasoning were they favoring England then? All my point of view is that they don't get paid or put their careers on line to favor anyone. Only reason is human error and in case of some umpires they are just not up to elite level/task. I did have issues in one test that was between India & Aus in Sydney not because he was favoring the host team but he was big time looser. Now we all can argue but we should be able to see the whole picture not few tests or specific incidents of an umpire. I can give you numerous examples where Dharmsena messed up against India but I don't want to waste anymoretime on this stupid discussion.
Bro in life we should move on instead of having any chip on the shoulder and then we may be able to see the reality..
I hope you understand my Hero..

Kash, read my sentence clearly my friend..
"Bro in life we should move on instead of having any chip on the shoulder and then we may be able to see the reality."
I meant in general not specifically about any chip in your shoulder. I am not here to judge anyone nor I have the right as I do respect everybody's opinion. However I have seen rants by some fans here about that series regarding umpiring a lot but they fail to include when they get favorable decisions.

Fact taker has a tendency to get offended easily. She doesn’t like anything slightly negative about team India and comes back with the usual, reference to “uncle” “hero” “hater”, and how people have a chip on their shoulder or how they are haters…. It’s a pity she doesn’t make much sense, as she could clearly do with a lesson or two in English.
Why can’t fans on here accept critical comments of their own teams. Its only a sport at the end of the day ffs.

Hi Hon..
My sweety-pie Afridi got upset again with me. I don't why she gets mad with me so fast all the time. I never offended anyone nor intented to do so. She misses my point and may be I catch her attention usually on her PMS time frame. Anyways back to the topic, if you bother that the article creator also is critical of BCCI and I have in the past done the same. I understand the view of other fans but it gets boring all the time if they rant the same thing that BCCI or India tries to cheat all the time. If India had so much control then they wouldn't have got the thrashing they got in tests. Without any proof claiming that specific umpire favors India is total bull! Being selective of umpire decisions and ignoring overall record of that particular official again proves one biased view.
And regarding English hon, I don't care as this is not my university/job situation cos its only sports website babe. For your information I use American English and we do have different way of writing for e.g.articles, spelling etc if you got your knickers twisted on it. Anyways we lot are more casual especially with sports stuff writing and enjoy life without too much formal thingy up urs backside u knw.. Ha ha ha take care & peace out babe. I gotta enjoy my day and u do the same.

Saying that if you swing the other way (which you clearly do), that’s fine. Cricket is an open game and we welcome people of all creeds, cultures, religions and backgrounds.
You’re the first gay cricket fan I know and the effects of steven davis coming out in the open and saying hes gay last year, has obviously had some positive impact on yourself . That said, what you do in private is completely up to you, but try to keep your comments on here cricket related

Not sure why admins deleted my comment to be honest, I was merely responding to a question posted by altj. But fair enough

Afridi, it was blatantly offensive.
