Just finished this game last night. Pure class!! What a brilliant game, well worthy of all the perfect scores it got.

I understand its not a game for everyone. For me it was nearly flawless. Loved it!

It's slow starting and more of a story game than guns blazing, but enough suspense and action for me
But we are all different!

to be honest lads im a bit put off by it and ill explain why....
i used to love games like resident evil but in the last few years ive made bad purchases like dead island and especially dead rising 2 ....where ive been walking around looking for broomsticks to stop the undead ...got boring very quick....
last of us looks like more of the same .......
i could be wrong though (i usually am)

You don't use broomsticks, but will use melee quite a lot; fists, shivs, bats, pipes and so on, it is obviously to gauge on the survival aspect of what it would actually be like. You do get a fairly good artillery of guns eventually, but the ammo is always scarce.

Just finished the game tonight. From my previous post the game picked up and I found myself enjoying it more.
Overall it was pretty good but I was glad it was finished and it's not likely I will play through it again.

Well I just finished the last of us. The action did pick up but I still wasn't thrown away by this game. Did not get attached to any of the characters, and what a dumb greedy move by the guy at the end very Hollywood ending. Still think the Uncharted games have been better. Overall I'll give it a 7.5, considering the hype around this game, I feel disappointed. I'm going to try one of Ni No Kuni or RDR next.
