Semi – Final 1 (Emirates Stadium)
Burnbury v Dagend

The Match:
The match gets off to a slow start with both sides cancelling each other out in the opening half an hour. However, Burnbury’s formation helps them when they have the first attack of the match with Marcelo breaking free down the left and crossing a beaut of a cross into the box for Lukaku to get his head on the cross and heads it straight at the keeper. Burnbury then have another break down the right wing this time with Alves crossing the ball into the box and this time Lukaku gets his header right and the ball ends up in the back of the net.

In the second half Burnbury continue to have fun down the wings and Marcelo plays the ball into the box and Lukaku makes it 2-0 to Burnbury. In all honesty Dagend haven’t seen much of the ball in this game and that’s hats off to Burnbury’s formation and attacking threat down the wings. Dagend make a change and bring on Cavani and him and Lewandowski start causing Burnbury problems in the final 20 mins of the match but still can’t find a goal and in all honest Burnbury’s Koscielny keeps a Cavani shot from going into the net.

Semi – Final 2 (Cardiff’s Millennium stadium)
Middleshrew v BFF:

The Match:
This game gets off to a fast and furious start with chances at both ends in the opening ten minutes. First from BFF with Carvajal playing a one-two with Nani and Nani cuts inside and plays the ball through to RVP who fires a shot wide. Middleshrew have the next chance with Eriksen receiving the ball from Fischer and slips the ball through to Jovetic who has his shot well saved. After that BFF dominate the first half with the ball by keeping possession throughout the half but not really creating any chances.

In the second half BFF come out and have the first chance of the second half when Pirlo picks Nani out with a beaut of a ball and Nani plays the ball to Isco who slips the ball through to Suarez who has a shot on goal. However, on the 55th Minute BFF finally take the lead with Nani placing a lovely ball through for RVP to get on the end of. Middleshrew try and find a goal in the final stages of the match but BFF keep strong and win the game.
