Tomorrow,(Saturday 29th June) We are travelling down to Reading to compete in this year's 606 Cup.
This year there are only3 teams competing, as Tottenham and Villa unable to get a team together. So its just Leicester Reading and Leeds United.
It is taking place at the Reading Dome, adjacent to the Madjeski Stadium.
The Leicester team is being led by our top blogger The Dungeon Master, and managed by me this time as I am out with an injury.
All the teams are made up of 606 bloggers, yes THE FANS.
It is all in aid of charity, and monies are going to Red Nose Day/
In Previous tournaments,Aston Villa have won twice and Tottenham once.
Our best was in Nottingham 2009, when we lost in the Final 0-2 to Villa
So I will start the ball rolling by wishing all the teams the best of luck.
Come on Leicester.
I will try to post scores on my mobile as the day goes on.

Woe, woe and thrice woe.
We'd be alright if we could just fond that final 5% of performance. And the other 95% to go with it.

I have to say that we ( the Leicester fans) were not as bad as the scores suggest
.
Game 1. losing 1-0 to Reading. Reading closed us down everytime we had the ball and we didn't do likewise, it was a very tight game, but they took their chance. Our keeper did make some excellent saves to keep us in the game, to be fair.
Game 3, 0-0 Leeds.
how we didn't win this game is beyond me, we created chance after chance after chance but the ball just wouldn't go in. one shot from 'FoxesTom' from a cross from 'left side over here' the Leeds keeper parried it, and the ball just stopped dead on the goal line.
#That just about summed that game up.
Game 4.lost 5-3 to Reading.
Reading scored a great goal, but did the lad mean it ? it decieved everyone including our keeper. soon followed by a rare mistake from Dunge and it was 2-0.
Great work from Just another fox set up Joey to pull it back. but 2 soft goals just before half time put the game beyond us. We pushed up and played with an extra striker. Joey and Adam both scoring to pull it back from 5-1 to 5-3, but again we just couldn't get any more goals although it has to be said we deserved a draw here.
Game 6. Lost 3-7 to Leeds.
We knew we had to go for it, and we continued with an extra striker but got caught out on the break, to be 4-0 pretty quickly. But we got one back through 'left side over here' and we pushed Leeds back all the way. Leeds did get a 5th just after the break. But we lept on pushingLeedsback and we did get 2 more again through Joey and Adam, but alas as we ran out of steam, Leeds scored twice more in the dying minutes to kill us off. 7 goals conceded, we didn;t deserve that, but fair play to Jag and his Leeds team.
Summarising, Nobody let us down, We gave it a good go, and had a great day in Reading. and out team raised just under £200 for Red Nose Day
We didn't track back enough, especially in the last two games, and too many time we were guilty of shooting or passing without looking up and seeing what else was on. Our fitness told a bit and it was evident that we simply do not play together enough.
But a fantastic effort and thank you to all our lads and keep your chins up and I plan to lead this team in to the next 606 Cup, hopefully in Leicestershire in March.
Regards, Steve (Glorialesterfan)

Those that can't play watch it and / or talk about it - think that best describes me

We clearly missed the injured Glorialestafan at the back.
Or suffered from his management. One of the two.
