bonsoir buds
as we all know the merc WO4 is by far the quickest car in F1 at the moment maybe not the easiest on its tyres but still the quickest by virtue of having 4 designers for every corner of the car ,the best engine hooked up to the best KERS and a couple of decent drivers to hustle it down the road not to mention the not too inconsiderable mercedes shilling bank rolling the whole circus -
however --------------- as we also know a big black cloud recently hovered above the before mentioned circus and very nearly dumped a flucking great big monsoon on top of the whole lot of them in the shape of an FIA tribunal that acted like mother teresa in the leniency it showed considering the scale of the crime -
however ---------- as we all know mercedes contravened articles 22 and 151 of the sporting code and it would seem impossible to think that mercedes did not glean alot of usefull information about there WO4 from the very valuable 3 days of testing over everybody else that they were not entitled to in the first place -
does anybody think that any success they do have in 2013 is now tainted because of the illegal 3 days of testing advantage that they should not have had and that other teams had the ethics to turn down with a current car -----
MERCEDES SUCCESS TAINTED ?

Yes, I do. Before the verdict I believed that as they had used this season's car, they had acted unpsportingly. This was their own decision so it will be tainted.

the wan man
i find it incredible that the FIA were so lenient on merc considering the scale of the crime and for me they now dont deserve to win anything this season ,
red bull are showing how a championship should be fought without having to resort to cheating --

The tribunal was independent. Before the Pirelli test where they tested the 2014 tyres, they had already been putting the car on pole consistently so there is nothing tainted about it. It's just sour grapes on your part and most of us know why.
If unsportsmalike behaviour is considered then the following WDCs are tainted, Alonso's 2 WDC, Vettel's 3 WDC and many others.
RedBull this weekend have already been found to be illegally heating their brakes so I would stop the sanctimonious BS. They've cheated their way to 3 championships already.
In conclusion, the tribunal asked that the cost of the hearing be shared between Pirelli, The FIA and Mercedes which highlights that there were more people to blame, so you really need to move on and stop crying about this

good morning manx -
fraid to say it is tainted because merc were found guilty and were punished for it , if they had not been found guilty then then it would not be tainted --- but the bottom line is they were found guilty of breaking not 1 but 2 sporting codes in the FIA rule book -
from the back of which cornflake packet did you read that red bull heated there brakes and since when has it ever been a crime to get a set of brake pads up to the proper working temperature before sending a driver out in the rain in the quickest cars on the planet in what could be a life threatening situation ?
the big teams have lobbied the FIA for the limited testing schedule to be increased to give them a better chance to develop there cars more fully and the bottom line is mercedes had 3 days of illegal testing for there 2013 campaign that the other teams did not -
-------------------- hence why they were found guilty and punished for doing it

Your opinion my good man is worthless. Regarding RedBull it's on the bbc, Gary Anderson, the man you consider an expert highlighted it.
It's also clear you are not aware of the rules with regards to the brake temperatures in F1.
I thought you were an expert

my opinion is far from worthless as wait for it -------------------------------------------- are you still waiting -------------------------------------- mercedes were found guilty at a FIA tribunal in paris and punished for it
as for red bull " heating there brakes "
------------ i take it the FIA are taking them to a tribunal then for
----------- " heating there brakes"

That's not the point though martial, you can cry all you want but the ruling body of the sport made a decision.
Deal with it. It's clear you are struggling with the rules in the sport and how the sport is governed. Maybe you need to take this up with the FIA. Your expert views need to be heard.
Stop wasting your skills on here with people who cannot match your all so supreme knowledge.
Perhaps there you can enlighten them about the low downforce at monaco, damp squids, goobly ook, tight and twisty barcelona and how making mistakes with a slow car makes you faster than a fast car not making mistakes.
Enjoy my good man, you've brought so much joy to the f1 board with your knowledge, enlighten the racing world and the science world as well.
Before I forget, tell them you are a jester first

you are starting with the silly insults again manx because you cannot counter anything i say in my topic which is what you normally do when you have run out of excuses of why you cannot counter peoples opinions on here -
( how can you possibly call anybody a jester on here when you start topics on a sports forum about " glassing " people in a pub which must be the most pathetic topic that has ever been penned on here )
as i said the bottom line is my topic is valid because mercedes was found guilty of breaching not 1 but 2 sporting codes in the FIA rule book and were found guilty and punished for it so my topic is very relevant and valid as to whether mercedes have gleaned significant development information for this season during there illegal 3 days of testing -
PS --- lets stop with the silly off topic innuendo and concentrate on F1 and we will remain sweet ------------------------------- savvy

Martial, I have never written a topic about glassing anyone at a club. Why tell lies about me?
I debate with every poster on this forum except you because you have said your opinons cannot be changed, therefore engaging in debate with you is pointless.
I wasn't insulting you dear boy, I posted things you actually said. Or were you insulting yourself when you made the comments? We know you generally counter your own arguments when given enough rope to do so.
You can post whatever you like on the forum and provided I do not break the house rules, so can I.
So please, stop peddling lies about me.
Many thanks

ok manx i apologise , i looked at the man united board last week and there was some clown with your name talking about glassing people -- if it was not you i apologise -- lets leave it at that
lets start with a clean slate then --- just stick to the topic when you post to me in future and all this off topic childish pathetic bollox will be avoided --- savvy
as i said my topic was valid and relevant and if you want to try and counter it with a different opinion that is up to you ,
but you have to accept that the FIA tribunal found merc guilty which makes my topic and my opinion significant and relevant and hurling off topic innuendo at me because you cannot counter my opinion does nothing except start off topic bollox
