Play Off's are Possible

So we are skint what's new we all know our shortfall's so what's possible with the team we have.
Automatic promotion would be a big ask this season even if we had 10 Million to spend, the championship is going to be as competive as ever and this year the team's comming down are going to be favourite's for promotion QPR ,Wigan and Reading are in better shape than the team's who came down last year especially Wigan and Reading which are well run clubs
Coming the other way there are no team's the like of Southampton or Norwich who can challenge for promotion , Bournemouth Yeovil and Doncaster will srtuggle, i don't think we will need 55 pts to stay up this year the league should be more normal than last season
So what can Leeds do with what we have got 8 pts of the play off's last season not alot to make up really, if we can hold on to a lead away from home (Wolves ,Leicester.and Palace) that's 6 points and our away form has to improve can't be as bad as last season
Our home form was pretty solid most of the season we beat both Palace and Leicester in a week at home who were both flying at the time at home plus the cup games Everton , Southhampton and Spurs if we can maintain our home form and improve away I think we can challenge for the play off's
We need to find an improvement of 10% and think we already have it on the bench Brian McDermott what a differene to Warnock's clueless 80's hoof ball , especially against Burnley left ER with a big smile on my face we dominated from start to finish and we did it playing football and what a goal
Austin was brilliant that night and probably had his best game for us hoping for more of the same this season he played alot of football last season before he came to us 1/2 a season in Norway and Byram looked premier league we must keep him we have to stop the rot and not sell our best young players and build around them,
The only worry is where are the goal's going to come from we need a striker was hoping that would be Morrison always rated him at Millwall thought he'd do a job for us when fit.
Don't understand swapping him for Hunt not many goal's in his locker and where is he going to play with Mcormack, Diouf been pretty Similar playing behind the strikers
We need some of the youngster to break through this season like Byram may be Thompson, Dawson and Poleon ,looking at our squad we have 3 strikers Diouf,Mcormack and Poleon how many Goals are there ? Diouf not alot, Mcormack can he have another 20 gls season ,possible playing regular
Poleon ?
So how many players do we need to improve 3-5
Center half experienced to play along side Lees
A winger with Pace (burke would be ideal) is he available on a free ?
Striker Hunt ????????
I'll be happy this season if we don't sell Byram play attractive Football and are in the hunt for the play off's, and couple of the youths make an impact i think thats the best we can hope for
2-3 years more in the championship if GFH can sort the finances out Bates left behind (loans guaranteed on season tickets) C t and building projects may be we can invest in the future, and i think Brian is the man to do it for us might not be instant , give him some time to build
