David Moyes begins his first morning at work as manager of Manchester United (the BBC already have a story up on his arrival ).
In a couple of weeks we start our pre-season tour beginning a run of games that takes us through to the Charity Shield with the Premier League season following shortly after
13 July Singha All Stars (Bangkok)
20 July A-League All Stars (Sydney)
23 July Yokohama F Marinos (Yokohama)
26 July Cerezo Osaka (Osaka)
29 July Kitchee FC (Hong Kong)
6 August AIK (Stockholm)
9 August Sevilla (Old Trafford)
11 August Wigan (Wembley)
I personally can't wait for the games to begin to start to get an idea of how we will line-up under Moyes. With the issues of certain players futures up in the air and the usual transfer speculation it's going to be an interesting summer.
With regards to his first season what expectations does everyone have? What would constitute a good/bad season?
New Season, New Manager

Yeah but a neutral will only look at the final result and not fancy statistics.

I'm going to try catch the game in HK. Need to ask my mate there to grab some tickets.

City have also changed manager who also has never managed in england so he will have to adapt. Everyone is pretty sure mourinho will pick up where he left off which might not be the case. Moyes just needs to add the right players his everton team was mcuh like ours poor at the start but will go on a great run christmas onwards

Fortunately, we don't really care what a neutral thinks about the game. Much the same way that I doubt Chelsea fans care that everyone thinks they were lucky to win the CL.
We're content in the knowledge we put up a hell of a fight, should have won but for a terrible decision.
We don't care what the records will show, I doubt it's a game that most of us will forget in short order...

I expect United to do a Quadruple. Anything less is a failure!

I also don't think Mourinho will have the same impact as first time round. The core of players isn't the same so a lot depends on what players he can bring in.

City could be very strong, Pellegrini did very well with a strong squad at Real Madrid only to be beaten by a Barcelona side that some rate as the best ever.

It's prime time for clubs like Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool to push further up the table. If one or more or the top three teams slips they need to take advantage.
