Simon Jones and so forth?

Greetings England fans,

this maybe out of left field but does anyone know what happened to Simon Jones?I know that he was very injury prone and tried to make a comeback in county cricket on a few occassions but was he ever successful? Is he still playing the game now? I'm sure that he is no longer a viable England option so are there any similiar types of fast bowlers waiting in the wings i.e. quick bowlers with the ability to extract late reverse wing?
