Im confused... the last i heard about this guy was that he stood us up and we then lost all interest in him. But now there are many rumours on the internet saying that we have signed/are in talks with him, anyone know what happening?

we had an offer accepted but he said he wanted to concentrate on u20 world cup. now apparently we've reopened talks.

apparently we have signed him..his Dad re=approached us....and your are correct, they did stand us up the 1st meeting...

rhackw, if you think of the great service that Cesc has given us and now look at some of the abuse being thrown his way... well, there's no way this guy can ever be good enough is there?
And he's not even pulled on the red and white yet.
If he comes and proves to be a success, this guy's dad will be hawking him all round Europe quicker than you can say "the Anelka brothers".
