The good news is that there's loads of time left this summer to secure players and sometimes getting the best deal takes a little longer - People need to chill.
However, the bad news is that we need at the very least 6-7 signings. Any fan that believes we need just 1,2 or 3 signings to compete is ing themselves.
We don't just need top quality players to come into the first team we also need to improve our horrendously thin squad.
It's great that we're finally getting rid of several "dross" squad members. The only downside is that we now have no one to call on if our main players get injured. Last season we had quite possibly our best ever season under Wenger in terms of injuries, I don't think there was ever a point where you could say we had an injury crisis.
Now it's highly unlikely we'll be so fortunate again on the injury front and we really need a squad we can count on, we really need at least 6-7 quality signings.
Over to you Wenger & pals
Plenty of time left. Many players needed.

Your squad wasn't thin at all, it might be thin soon if you are getting rid of all the dross though.

IMO the squad was not particually thin but it was thin in regard to quality. With the removal of Arshavin et al from the wage bill it appears that the club are clearing our prior to bringing in.

The longer we drag on the more difficult we get the players. Every team knows we are desperate to buy some players, and the price won't be cheap.
Too bad our management is cheap.

Dong imo we need 3 player for the first team (striker, centre mid and attacking midfielder) and another 2/3 to add to the depth of the squad, (GK, centre back)

8bit. I agree although for me that would be the absolute minimum we need, depends on how much youth is likely to step up.
