LUIS SUAREZ was last night linked with a sensational move to Arsenal.
Bookies stopped taking bets on the Β£25million-rated Liverpool striker quitting Anfield for the Emirates.
The controversial hitman had been strongly tipped to join Real Madrid.
And it was a series of massive bets in Spain β with the Gunners as his destination β which forced William Hill to close their market.
Spokesman Rupert Adams said: βIt would suggest they have heard something substantial."

This Suarez rumour is obviously a wind up by one of the d|ckless media outlets. Total and utter fabrication made from an unknown and untrue bet made from "the Barca area". Feck knows what that means. All i can say, s thta Suarez will never join Arsenal. 200%.
Hopefully more talk about Higuain getting done on Friday. Tired of caaants talking out of thier backside. Just sign the player.

I don't think anyone can criticize Suarez's ability.
His character is questionable. Can Arsene straighten him out? Is this plan 'B' if we can't get Higuain?
Suarez------Rooney---------Theo
Front line looks good.

Oh, so we've signed Rooney as well. Nice.

Its been years since we have had speculation for top players, Serial. Enjoy the ride.
I can't see Rooney staying at Man Utd with Moyes. In a way I hope he does because he will destabilise the dressing room. Moyes sued Rooney ffs. It doesn't get any worse than that. If he does leave. Its between us and Chelsea. He is not the type of character who has ever wanted to go abroad. I don't see Man Utd selling to Chelsea.

I agree that Rooney won't stay at United. His relationship with Moyes will be strained and it's likely he'll leave United. I just cannot see him going to Arsenal. No chance.

Only two clubs after him, Chelsea and Arsenal. Never say never!

The chances of Suarez coming to Arsenal are almost zero particularly since he is currently suspended from playing.
My guess is that rumour is circulating to accelerate the
Higuain deal as Real are reputed to be interested in him as an option to Cavani.

I think Rooney will stay at United. He'll do an inelegant public u-turn and maybe get a few extra quid or a couple of years added to his contract. You may be right though Jenius: him staying might do them more harm than good.
As for all these "Bookies suspended betting.." stories. They seem to be complete bollox viral marketing ploys. Suarez is probably the most ridiculous one yet. Has anyone checked if Sky Bet actually did "suspend betting" on this one? Or is it just to get people to go to their site and throw their money away?

Why would Rooney or even Suarez want to go to a club that has not won anything for almost a decade?

You know what...
There probably were bets on Suarez, but not Luis Suarez. More likely its that u20 player for Spain!
