According to Wikki he is a Left back/Left winger so he must be something like Gareth Bale then

More like Gareth Hale I'd guess.

Ended last season on loan at Birmingham City and that was when they started climbing the league table. Would be a good signing I would have thought, and the right age at 21

Curious to see what the plan is for ricketts?
When is the first per season game?

I can see Ricketts and Batth playing Centre back with Foley and Ferguson as full-backs, providing we get the latter.

It would be great if we do get a genuine left back for sure.
I get the feeling you may be right about ricketts being a center back too, though IF we do not get a left back i would like to see him there.
Dont see Foley starting ahead of doherty to be honest......wasn't there talk last year of foley going to left back, or was that just some deano talk?

Isn't George a left-back? Surprised to see that Tank is not going on the tour. Would have thought it would be good experience for him.

ha, yeah george is indeed a left back, but i think many would prefer someone better, though in fairness this is the level he came from and no doubting his commitment.

shane ferguson is a magnificent crosser of the ball. Pace also, the only problem is him being inconsistent, one game he can look like george best the next ali dia
