Ability to train.
And can it effect you psychologically.
Most people don't have any adverse effects from giving blood, but some struggle a great deal with it.
With the increasing number of blood testing going on with boxing these days could they make some boxers to perform bellow par.
George Foreman, back in his heyday was one mean ******* but when he just had to have shots he cried like a baby.
I personally get very dizzy when having blood tests, feel weaker and cannot train at maximum for that day.
We do need a higher standard of anti-doping in boxing but are blood tests the way to go?
Urine, saliva and hair testing are non intrusive and can detect anything blood can except EPO.
But a blood test after the fight should catch that.
Boxing needs better testing but it needs to be controlled by a universal body and that it should not be to the detriment of the boxer.

Of course it will for a few days afterwards. You're not just losing blood but also all the nutrients, sugars, and oxygen that comes with it.
It's a case of resting for a few days afterwards for the blood to be replenished

It was only a few mls about 30mls I think.
Plasma replenishes in about 24 hours.
The red blood cells take a bit longer.
I just wonder if boxing or sports in general should continue down this intrusive testing route, because of its adverse effects on athletes, some more than others.
