Benteke for 25m - would you be happy?

If Spurs were to buy Benteke for 25m, would you be happy with this deal?

Points to consider.

1. He has had only 1 good season in the prem

2. He has the attributes to be one of the top strikers in the world if he nurtures his game.

3. His wage demands are unlikely to be as high as other players who have moved for similar amounts, e.g. RVP

4. He seems very disloyal

5. 25m is 8m over our current transfer record.

6. Such are the finances at spurs, it is unlikely that should he not work out for us, we would be able to buy another big expensive striker for quite a while, therefore it represents a considerable risk

7. He is young, so will have sell on value even if he flops.

8. Spurs are a better side than villa, therefore sides tend to be more defensive minded when they play us, especially at the lane - he will find he probably has less space to operate him, will he be able to adapt his game?

So based on the above and other points you may have, lets discuss whether or not you think this would be a good signing at that price.

over to you....

Chronic,

You'll probably be in prison then if certain posters have their way. FBI not found you yet?

MI5 havent managed to track me down yet. not sure why, i work somewhere near baker street

According to MI5 records there are 172 baker streets in the UK so by the time they've located where the crime was committed they'll have forgotten what they were investigating it for in the first place

"they will be dragging staff off their anti-terrorism team to combat me"

Colleagues have told me that it will take 2 years compute time (current tech) for GCHQ to be able to translate into English Michs' actual message that grasses you up.

You're right, I've just heard that David Cameron is withdrawing the call for Andy murray to be knighted and is offering up that honour to whoever finds you first....

Chaz from Saigon ??

MI5/6 will just dismiss it as attempted counter intelligence (I use the last word very loosely in sentences relating to Chaz ) mischief from Vietnam.
