Choice did it again last tournament, pulled off a progression when it looked like he would be going home in the group stages. After getting tonked by Edin 5 – 0 a narrow victory against Wilshere enabled him to beat Sideshow in a shock play-off victory and once again reach the knock-outs where he fell to Kamran. This time he has a group with no real tournament contenders in it and could go far, if he can get some consistency into his game and stop flapping when he concedes the first goal you never know, unfortunately tho I think he will fall just at the end.

Ludy

Team: Blackpool

Ranked: 10th

Ludy’s tournament record for the last two tournaments has been better than many of the so-called elite players and he appears to be improving in this respect last tournament he saw off Sideshow and May to qualify in a tough group before losing to Dog on an agonising golden goal. Blackpool are one of the best teams in this league and in such an open group I expect Ludy to put up a strong fight and get that top 2 place, after that the aim is to win a knock-out game!

Wilshere

Team: Derby

What at first I thought was just unlucky has turned out to be mediocrity. Wilshere blew a good chance to qualify last time out and is showing very little in his first three tournament appearances. Things could change in this group as any player can beat any player so it makes for an unpredictable affair. However I feel he won’t take advantage of this and yet again a group-stage exit could be on the cards, at this rate he will be breaking Ludy’s record of 6 consecutive group stage exits.

RVPM

Team: Sheff Wed

Ranked: Joint 20th

RVPM has decided to make another sporadic return to the tournaments. Looking at his record two group-stage exits isn’t the best but he does seem to threaten to qualify and then drops a clanger near the end. He deffo will take some wins from this group, but has he got the consistency to maintain it and qualify, I’m not so sure. Like Choice I’ll go with a close group-stage exit.

Another newcomer in the shape of Obers has joined the tournament. When I question him about his ability he always seems to put himself down and doesn’t rate his chances at all and that is all I really can go on for now. That said he does have the perfect group on which to make an impact so he might pick up a win or two.

Junior

Ranked: Joint 3rd

A bit like SpursBoy Junior has been having a pretty torrid time of it atm with poor performances. The last tournament he appeared in the EPL saw him finish rock bottom and considering quitting the tournament fold altogether, thankfully he changed his mind and could prove vindicated with the circumstances of this tournament. When playing to their max Junior is the best player in this group and if he does this he should walk it, however it is a case of can he do it or not? We shall see.
