The Big Picture

Back in L1, during 2nd half of season, I wrote about Grayson and his lack of skills, abilities and his inability to create inspiration within the team.

I was the target of many peoples abuses but I saw the writing on the wall after our 11 point lead over 2nd place began to dwindle as we lost/drew more and more games. That was also the season that Grayson dropped, then got rid of another keeper, namely Casper (sounds similar to last season when he got rid of Kasper).

Many on here have been verbally abusing, and calling the likes of Bluememe, Liw, Lofty, Whiterose, Grayson out etc wums for voicing their opinions and points of view, and yet, by todays performance against the Saints they've been proved right.

Since 2nd half of the L1 season I've not been a fan of Graysons, I've never shyed away from that fact, but let's put everything in perspective.

1) L1, we give away an 11 point lead, dropped backwards to 4th and scraped auto promotion by a gnats whisker. Last season, we spent most of it in top 6 and reached 2nd spot, only to slide backwards finishing 7th.

2 seasons, back to back we slid backwards in 2nd half of season. This is Graysons pattern. This season, based on last 2, we'll finish well below 7th; I'd say middle to relegation zone.

2) Grayson doesn't have a clue when it comes to recognising good players. Grayson inherited, then got rid of most of McCallisters team, and look what's happening.

For those who say "but he got us promoted" reread 1 and 2.

3) Grayson has no idea reference tactics, he still thinks tactics is a small packet of mints.

4) Grayson has his bumchums, he won't change. Paynter and McCormack are 2 of'em; SG is still looking for that justification in bringing'em to Leeds.

Some don't rate Grella, but he can do a hell of a lot better than them 2 put together. Where's Nunez, where's Sam, where's White and a couple of other youth players...........Grayson don't seem to like young blood.

5) Grayson can't read a game, he subs too late and in most instances uses the wrong subs, but expects miracles with about 5 minutes to go. SG has no idea how to rev up and inspire our players.

6) Grayson is addicted to the freebie and loanee markets. He was the same at Blackpool, and Bates wasn't at Blackpool either.

7) Grayson always seems to blame the players for mistakes/bad games, he never accepts responsibility himself, as a good manager should. Probably one of the reasons most players can't get revved up or inspired.

8) Grayson has always said money is available to buy players, so has Bates. Granted the amount has never been disclosed, but he continued to say it but use the freebie and loanee markets.

9) Grayson says he's building a team for promotion, then tells the fans not to have high expections..........what type of manager says things like that..........he's always contradicting himself.

10) Grayson says he's a Leeds fan but is also Bates puppet, if Grayson has problems with Bates he should stand up and say so. No one is holding a gun to Graysons head.

11) Bates is not interested in Leeds United or promotion, all he's interested in is building his hotels, shopping centre, luxury corporate boxes and making a big profit.

Bates actions and the scandal involving Bryan Robson certainly look suspiciously like they stand side by side.

Like many, I was a happy chappy when Bates saved Leeds from destruction, but no one can be held to ransom by being gratefull for ever. I have since gained a terrible dislike and some what hatred for Bates as he slowly, with Graysons help tears this once great club of ours apart.

Fans also seem to be divided at the moment too.

12) Should we ever get into Premier League under Bates (doubt it) then he'll be the target of an ownership investigation, a suspicious scam that's been ongoing for a while.

There's got to be logical reasons why Bates wants to keep banning certain media.

All those who keep defending, and making excuses for Grayson, and to some extent Bates, should start to look at things realistically, the writings on wall and the big picture is there for all to see.

Personally, I can't see us doing to well this season (I've been wrong before, I'm not infallable). I also sense that a Grayson out and a Bates out chant is not to far off.

Those of you who want to rip my post to shreds go ahead, you're entitled to your opinions and points of view, but I'd prefer the debaters, rather than the abusers.

All in All...............Marching on Together.

Luvur fair points.

Ive always said no one forces Grayson to be in this position so he either genuinely believes what he says about our squad/targets or is happy to say what bates wants him to.

I think bates is making money from the status quo and if we go up without having spent anything it's a bonus.

Let's look at the here and now. We have a weak threadbare squad, a manager who doesn't make best use of resources and the players we trial would make us even worse!

I predicted 11th this season thinking that was promising whilst many on here call it negative and well be 2nd.

Maybe some good will come from this result in that they'll now take their blinkers off.

I think you'll find the bates out chants have started, thats what started rows of our own fans fighting among themselves at Southampton. Sad ......very sad.
