Arsenal's Transfer Activity

For some mysterious reason, I am banned from the arsenal board, so I have decided to post this here, seeing as all the goooners monitor the spurs board anyway

so goooners... man u have seemingly made a bid for cesc fabregas. surely the best way to get cesc to sign for you instead of man u would be to actually sign all these players that i have been assured that you will sign, thus showing that you actually have a little bit of ambition for a change...

RGK this morning once again assured me that you are going to be signing Rooney and Suarez, but did mention that the contingency plans are Higuain and Jovetic.

Do you not think that if you stopped prancing about like a gay antelope and actually did some actual business then it might help persuade cesc to choose arsenal, who are lets face it, total also-rans, rather than proven winners - man u?

also i have been made aware by RGK of this pot of gold you have this summer. he has again told me that you have the most money of any club in the world to spend this summer. therefore why are you haggling over a couple of million for higuain, and then launch a 30mill bid for suarez.

you are more confused than maf trying to do his 5 times table

if any of you gooners are reading this, which you will be, please provide some clarity on what arsenals plan is, because you are starting to look a bit silly

Been getting lots of questions about Arsenal's finances & transfers in recent days. Apols can't reply to all. Going to post some answers now

tim payton ‏@timpayton 32m

Arsenal can afford to pay up to £50m for Suarez if Wenger judges he offers value. Their total transfer warchest is not far short of £100m

tim payton ‏@timpayton 32m

Arsenal can also easily afford to pay 150k a week wages. Next yr club revenues = £300m allowing them to build to a £180m per annum wage bill

tim payton ‏@timpayton 31m

Assuming a £180m per annum wage bill, Arsenal can comfortably add three more players on 150k a week or four at 100k a week (on top of fees)

tim payton ‏@timpayton 31m

Ivan Gazidis was right to go public with the club's financial strength. 1 It's publicly available facts. 2. It sends a wide message and 3...

tim payton ‏@timpayton 31m

....and 3. it was also aimed at his manager with the clear message that the time to use it for the good of the club had come #ambition

tim payton ‏@timpayton 30m

My view, from assessing public info & talking privately to others is Arsenal have extremely good chance of getting Suarez & other big names

tim payton ‏@timpayton 27m

On Cesc, I tweeted weeks ago Arsenal didn't think he'd leave & recently Arsene himself confirmed that. But maybe Man Utd changed things?

Very good piece on Suarez deal issues http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/luis-suarez-pins-hopes-on-premier-league-settling-liverpoolarsenal-standoff-8732679.html … If Madrid stay out Liverpool really struggling & will have to settle for £40m

Looks like Suarez will come to us while the tiny totts lose out on Soldado.

An Arsenal fan having a pop at us in saying we will miss out on Soldado................................

You are welcome to Suarez, he is just trouble & obviously can add lying to his notable list of wrongdoings too. He said he wanted out of the PL because of the harrassment by the media.
