Fergie says rooney is a back up to rvp, why is he in all these line ups?
Cesc is not coming. After going through thiago you realky want to this again?
If a manager who bought fellaini and managed him for years, has not called him up yet, why would he be suddenly coming?
You guys do not get tired of this? Speculating to the point of believing. Next they will be a million midfield is not good enough articles

MOYES also said that he can play in behind or up top on his own. If Rooney stays then he will play plenty of games.
Just because Moyes hasn't yet moved for Fellani doesn't mean he won't. It's not crazy to think that a manager will assess his squad before making his move in the market. I doubt that we will get Cesc and Fellani, but I think the latter is a realistic option.

agree that team would probably walk the league, looks very strong in all areas, but what are the backup options?
that's where most teams fail, we know from ruddy experience lol, poor backup and doesn't matter how good your first team is.
also what would those 2 cost £50 mill, you have the funds or need to sell first?
what about Baines as well, or is that no longer an option.

I think it could be,
de Gea
Rafael Smalling Vidic Baines
Carrick
Welbeck Rooney Hernandez vPersie
Fellaini
Tactics are pretty obvious, Carrick and Baines deliver the long ball up top, Fellaini wins the header back to one of our strikers who finishes.
Obviously there should be a big gap from where Carrick is to where are strikers are, he would nearly be playing as a sweeper.
This also solves the worry of our midfield being over-run, what midfield
Fabregas will be on the bench

Maybe it should look more like,
de Gea
Carrick
Rafael Smalling Vidic Baines
Welbeck Rooney Hernandez vPersie
Fellaini

OP, I don't see why we'd spend £75 million on Ronaldo only to leave him on the bench.

The team above would not win the league. I'd say Arsenal's starting XI is better than that

United, at their best, rolled with a team similar to this last year. Only difference was Evans was in the starting XI, an off form Rooney and Valencia played, and Kagawa played out of position.
I never said United was going to win the league this year. This is the best team I could go with.

I'm glad you put the first names. I get easily confused. What with all the different De Geas, Ferdinands, Vidics, Evras, Fellainis, Fabregases, Nanis, Kagawas and Van Persies flying about these days.
