Who was the better buy.
Coleman at £60k or Johnson at £18m for the same type of attacking RB?
Coleman or Johnson

Nope, I just choose not to answer it. I am the one making the comparison and asking the questions. So tough

PJS - We paid a lot of money for an established England international with prem experience and you bought a youngster with Potential.
Our player probably was overpriced (but established Engalnd internationals always are) and your youngster may, one day, prove to be as good as him.
Hope that answers your question. Here's one for you now?
Steve Gerrard (free from the youth system) and Fellaini, £18m who is the best value for money?
Fair comparison, two CM's who are both international players.

I would say at £18M it was £3M more than we spent of Fellaini

Coleman's been a revelation, Johnson's a good player too.
Wouldn't it be good to see some healthy discussion and banter between us and Kopites, rather than the usual, tired taunts already propagated by the bloke on here?

I don't think healthy discussion and banter exists between us and the kopites online. On the whole anyway. It's fine with your mates, in work or down the pub, but get on 606 (and now the alternatives) and then you get the sh!thouses who can't take criticism and get all uppity. Just look at this tool THE-NEW-LIVERPOOL-BRAND (U3894). He didn't like where this one was going so out come the "you're obsessed" and "you're bitter" mantras they love to spout when they're on the backfoot.
On topic, both good going forward, both look dodgy in defence. I think Coleman will improve with experience, Johnson just looks plain dodgy.

So most seem to agree Coleman is the more complete player with more potential for defensive development.
Amazing what £60k will buy you
