Should we complete the signing of Benteke, then we will have added Benteke and Paulinho to our ranks, with Kaboul and Sandro back too, those are 4 very physical players.
Now as a side that have always had a reputation for style, even when we were a poor football team, how do you feel about that?
I should make the point that with that style also comes a soft centre, and basically we are often pushovers with little mental strength.
Lately under Jol, Redknapp, and now AVB, we have certainly toughened up a bit, both mentally, and physically, and this looks set to continue.
My question is, how do you feel about our seemingly newish approach for big powerhouses, and do you think that it will hold us in better stead firstly on a domestic level, and also in europe?

Yea but I love Defoe and wouldn't want him to go!

oooo this article has been resurrected.
I think villa would sell for his release clause. which is I think 25 or 26 mill.
not sure that money would be spent by the club unless we could get ade off our books, or I guess sell defoe.

Yea chronic a striker would have to go before we buy!

Ade wouldn't leave City without them paying up a sizeable lump of his contract, Levy will not do that and to be honest I can't see anyone else doing it to take him off our hands.
We're stuck with the caant

Then play the caant, on his day a very good striker imo and thought he'd have an excellent season this year

Isn't he struck down with an itchy buttock or some other dreadful ailment?
