Are certain pre season performances going to hinder us in the transfer market?.
I ask this because i feel that some fans are getting carried away with certain players performances not just on here but on many sites. Wenger himself has been quoted in the past saying that he goes from game to game with regards to him signing players which is worrying.
Don't get me wrong, its nice to see Giroud for e.g finding the net and showing confidence and he is a decent talent who was really thrown in the deep end last season. But lets face it, he should be scoring a bundle against very weak opposition like Indonesia and Vietnam. Can we trust him to do it in the PL week in week out? can we afford to risk it?.

Pre season is to do with getting fit. Anything else does not matter too much.

No one's getting carried away with pre-season games as far as I can tell. Wouldn't know how you came about that perception. The overwhelming majority believe we need some major moves in the transfer market.

Well there are a few on here getting a tad overly excited about a few players and not recognizing that we were playing ryman league or lower standered opposition. So yeh, a few are getting carried away.

Pre season games is for get together, integrate new players, work on tactics and formation, work on fitness and rhythm. That's all.
