Rooney has burnt any bridges at United. Even if he stays the majority of Utd fans will be against him. So maybe it's best to sell him. Although I have a hunch he will stay.
However, there is reports we have been in for Fabregas. So clearly we are looking at a top player to sign. The only issue is that this is a no go in my opinion. Can't see it happening.
So which top player will we sign?
Top Player but Who???

Worried you can have Bales left leg for 60 mil if you want. If the worlds most powerful side Real Madrid are finding it impossible to deal with Levy them god knows why you think united have a good chance. I think you need to be more worried about Rooney

Why are we going to be worried about Rooney? We have RVP, a better striker.

Worried that this Rooney saga will cause friction at the club

Doubt that very much. All this friction stuff is over stated. It won't affect the players at all. They are professionals.

RVP pushing 30, 2 years left. 3 tops

Haha, yeah I'm sure Bale can't resist the lure of playing under a manager who has won nowt in the game. Juande Ramos won more trophies in 1 year at Spurs than Moyes did in 10 at Everton.
Moyes is already struggling to manage the big name players.

whereas United never had any problems with Rooney under Ferguson ??
People praying united will falter under new management are going to be sadly disappointed.
We are fortunate that we had Fergie at the helm when we had the large debts as he kept winning without being able to compete with spending. But now the debt is virtually gone and United are getting ready to flex their finances unfettered by the FFP rules.
