OFFS where does that rubbish come from. AVB is not going to be so stupid to go to another of the so called really big boys after what happened to him at Chelsea

I think you can safely put Barca in the 'really big boys bracket'

If he did have a disaster at Barcelona, which with the quality players they have is highly unlikely, but the chances of him remaining at Spurs if you are in the bottom half come January are to say the least flakey with Levys penchant for sacking managers.

Oh please! How can you say he wouldn't want to manage barca because of what happened at Chelsea? Two completely different teams with different agendas (dump the old and bring in the new vs fine tuning to get them back on their European throne). Instead of wondering if Defoe and ade will score 30 league goals between them he'd sit back safe in the knowledge that messi would get that done himself by February. One bad experience doesn't mean he'd duck it for the rest of his life.....
....saying that I don't want him declaring his undying love for barca to the media or I'll shave that beard off

He can not say that many words without throwing in an "errrrrmmm". On that basis alone, I do not believe the quote.

AVB was asked about him being the favourite for the Barca job now that Vilanova has left and said that due to him stepping aside for health reasons now isn't the time to be speaking about who takes the job and that he hopes Tito makes a full and speedy recovery which i though was very classy, didn't stop the interviewer asking him the same question straight after mind

No ambitious manager could turn down that chance if it came along, unless he is at United, AC Milan, Bayern or Madrid already.
He didn't rubbish it full stop, but neatly sidestepped it. Very well too, and with a nice reference to Tito.
I don't see it personally, I don't think AVB's style of football is nice enough for them
