and tamim is off to a good start already.A very bold declaration from Zimbabwe,,,reckon they should have set a target above 400.the pitch still looks flat...
although quite a comeback from zimbabwe,Taylor seems to be a really good batsman.young vitori impressed in the 1st innings..he has to do same now for his country.
but when tamim is there bangladesh can feel they can come close.
Tamim Iqbal is bangladeshi shehwag..and although hasnt yet won the matches on his own like great shehwag, still he is a very good opener..and if he gets a quick 100 then the match is bangladesh's to lose..
it should be a cracker of a test match.
although my prediction is zimbabwe to win by about 50-100 run margin..
whats your prediction guys?
375 the target for Bang'desh vs Zimbabwe

Big wicket there for Zim, can't help but feel that swings the balance towards Zimbabwe now. Should be a very interesting last day. My money is on Zimbabwe.

kyle Jarvis had a excellent spell of bowling just then after tea, and deserved his 2 wickets.
Also, mpofo's ball to get rid of tamim was magnificent. swung and seamed back as much as any ball i've ever seen

also, note that the highest 4th innings score for any team on that harare pitch is 310. 375 against bangladesh would look to be a pretty safe bet for zimbabwe.

Bangaldesh are just not upto the standards of test cricket.. Its shocking to say but its true..

Probably neither of these teams are up to test standard, sadly the WI and perhaps NZ are heading the same way.
It's looking more and more likely that a two tier system will be instituted in the near future.

I hope so... Bangladesh have been playing test cricket for years and zimbabwe have just come back into test cricket after years. Just shows how poor Bangladesh are to lose.. And Zimbabwe look an all round better team..

i tell you what, Zimbabwe have some decent players in there. if craig ervine is anything like his brother, sean, then he'll be a good player. Brenden Taylor looks to have improved dramitically too, and masakadza and taibu both jave test batting averages over 30, which while not brilliant is decent.
on the bowling, young kyle jarvis looks decent, and Ray Price hasn't lost any of his guile since he left the test scene 6 years ago. the other bowlers i'm not so sure about, but i think that zimbabwe could certainly give the likes of new zealand, the windies and pakistan a run for their money.
Bangladesh look completely out of their depth at this level though, i grant you. i wouldn't advocate revoking their test status, but i think a two teir system for the sake of develpoment, would not be a bad idea.
