F1 2013 Video Game

Not sure how many gamers peruse this board but I am actually really excited about this one.

Codemasters has released information on the official F1 video game for the 2013 season.

They've updated the rules and the tyres to account for the changes made between this season and last, and they've also remodeled the handling in order to make the game feel more realistic.

One major gameplay feature added to this new title is the ability to save your game mid-session, so you can enjoy the strategy and management of a full sixty-something lap race without having to worry about committing to a 3 hour session in order to complete it.

Another major feature (and the bit I am most excited about) is the introduction of a Classics Mode which allows the players to take control of one of 5 iconic cars from the 1980s and compete with some of the greats of the decade on classic circuits like Jerez and Brands Hatch.

This mode is available on all versions of the game, but a premium "Classic Edition" will be released alongside it that features two more content bundles that focuses on cars, drivers and circuits from the 1990s, although these will be made available on the standard version of the game as downloadable content.
