I don't really have any idea if this will happen, but before anyone brings up what Wenger said earlier today, let me ask: how likely is it that Wenger would reveal our interest in a player (or having a deal in place) when his club has a huge second leg to play, only two days afterwards?
Wenger is very respectful to other clubs (generally) when it comes to transfers, there's no way he would come straight out with it to the press (if this news is to be believed). We'll have to wait it out and see, but we can only hope, one of the positions we need to strengthen.

Out of interest when does the Brazilian league/finish...and if we do sign Bernard would we need to give me him a few weeks rest after the final or would he be at prime fitness (i.e in the middle of their season)?
