What about an old firm charity shield type match at the start of the season? 50,000 at Hampden proceeds to cash for kids or something. Id love it , got to better than some of the gas h friendlies we go to?

What about an American style All-Star game. i.e. League champs against SPL select Managed by the S.C. winner.

Maybe could be offered to sky as a make-weight for a 16- team league...? With a split that would still mean 4 old firms a year while they get more top flight games and league quality/interest increases.

Qcelts idea sounds ok. An automatic OF game is a no go.
The Charity Shield is decided on merit. If we had the same criteria perhaps.
