Other midfield targets

So, once the Fabregas 'saga' has well and truly run its course and we are left red faced again, who, realistically is out there that can improve us.

I'll start with Fellaini, who is a bit like marmite on here, some people want him and others would rather we stick a clothes peg into our midfield. Cheaper than Fabregas with a buyout clause of around 22 mill?

James Mcarthy is another who splits opinion, would he actually improve us though? Doubt it.

Nemanja Matic, don't know a whole lot about him, but a bit in the Fellaini mould? Strong, good feet, bit of a powerhouse.

Modric- could be surplus to requirements at Madrid due to the arrival of that dude whose name I can't spell. We have seen in the past that they let go players on the cheap- Robben, Sneijder.

Brock Lesnar- Could become the midfield enforcer that we have all been craving for?
