Just found this used to love reading the old 606 !

first of all what a game ! really looking forward to the season, was wondering what you guys would give as ratings??

De Gea- 7 - Should have stopped Dzeko's goal no doubt , but a great stop from Johnson, and a great save from the header which was offside ( cant remember who headed it)

Evra - 6 - Good going forward , Lucky not to be off to be honest got caught a few times Defensively.

Ferdinand - 7 - Got bullied by Lescott for the goal but overall was his usual composed self.

Vidic - 6 - Should not have let Lescott drift behind him for the first and should have closed Dzeko for the second.

Smalling - 9 - Proved a very capable RB gave us width pushed on well , composed finish . grat on the ball too !

Anderson - 8 - Kept the ball ticking over really well composed in the middle. Has to be the starting CM imo this season.

Carrick - 7 - Usual self, passed the ball easy kept it moving, nothing exceptional.

Nani - 9 - A very very good game for Nani, a constant goal threat, first goal showed his quality finishing and kept his nerve for the second. MOTM

Young- 7 - Good solid game , overdid it a few times but linked up well , seems to have settled quickly

Welbeck - 7- Unbelievable potential he linked with rooney really well and off the back of a very promising pre season could be fighting for the other strikers positon.

Rooney - 8 - Came alive in the second hald the one touch passing and movement was brilliant .

Jones - 8 - Solid as a rock , really good passer of the ball as well , a great bit of business

Evans - 9 - came on and was brilliant , no one got past him a rock , cheeky 70 yard run as well.

Cleverley- 9 - Came on and ran it passing and movement was excellent ! really hopeful ! TBH never been that excited about him before this pre season ... he shut me and possibly a few others today.

Rafael - 7 - didnt have lots of time as ever got forward well was solid enough.

Berbatov - N/A- didnt have long enough on the pitch.
