Someone was on here talking about it yesterday as a good way to stream to tv. I was intrigued, $35, not a bad price. Went to Amazon and purchased it. Just arrived, going to test it to see if its worth it for you all. Will let you know soon.

I don't understand.
Wireless bluray player links to computers and plays wherever is in the hard drive. Also plays YouTube etc. hdmi cable for anything I stream. What does this thing do that I can't do?

Can you get a wireless bluray player for less than $35?

I still don't get what it does.
BR player may have been $100 but with that and the computer I can download, stream, watch whatever I want,
I don't understand what your dongle does

Anything you can download, stream, watch on your Computer, Laptop, Tablet or Smartphone can instantly be streamed to your TV.
So, no more watching footy streams at a computer desk. Any series, show, programme you can find online can be watched from the comfort of your sofa for $35. Now there are other ways to do this. You can hard wire it or purchase more expensive equipment for around $100+ to do the same thing. This does it all for $35. No hassle.

I have already downgraded my TV package to the basic cause any series I watch stream for free on the TV Stations website. I am now saving myself $40 a month. Ha.

Sounds like a decent deal. What about downloading copyrighted material? can you set a proxy so hbo dont give you grief?
I'm already set up for all that so won't invest any more but it sounds decent for a new set up.
One off or annual fee?

That is up to your computer skills. if you can view it on your computer, you can stream it to your tv.

That's where I am right now. Two computers wireless to the TV. Bluray to the two hard drives. Bluray is a bit pointless as I can access everything thru the TV/comps

I just use an HDMI cable for a third of the price and everything streams in any format my laptop uses. Don't see the point in this thing you're talking about.
