Wray, Watkins, Worms, Warts & Woodwork

Well Gents, just as the dust was starting to settle it appears the infamous Town fantasy ride roller coaster is spinning into action once more with plenty of fresh headlines coming our way.

It seems that now PDC has settled his claim out of court Comazzi, that most useless of defenders is now also set to issue proceedings against the club, full details in today's Adver.

It seems that while we thought we were in good hands Wray ,(under PDC's thumb), was putting all sorts of deals together to get rid of Donkeys' various that PDC had signed on two year deals. All sorts of tax avoidance measures were put in place to ease these people out of the door. Money for very old rope passed its use-by date and then some. Now PDC has left and sued it seems there maybe more to come, and the issue over Adam Rooney, another year at CG and at £8k a week has all yet to get sorted out.. Obviously Wray knew what was going on and Watkins as the clubs Chief Exec must have also been aware, so I ask the question, just how many payments to players previous are we still paying, Magera, Kerrouche,Atiku, as a lot had their deals paid up so they could leave . It beggars belief, the so called business men that were supposed to be so top quality, yet now all the warts are exposed it is beginning to look like they lost their way once Fitton left the club as Chairman. I am sure he would have stood for none of these such goings on. I may not be a fan of Jed, but feel somewhat dismayed that he has to be the bearer of these bad tidings and is left holding this mess to sort out which was knowingly created by others. No wonder players are being sold when all this capital is being demanded as damages.

It seems to me that all the work Fitton did as Chairman has been undone by the irresponsible actions of those that followed, and we are back in many ways to square one.

I am a bit of a consultant, but give my advice free to people in the textile industry. If I have to do work to support that advice, then I will charge for it. But that is on a job to job basis, not on a retainer.
To be a paid consultant you have to have knowledge & experience beyond that of the staff of the people who are paying you. Did Comazzi have that?
I would like to know, in order for him to command such a salary,
a) What qualifications he has got
b) Who consulted him during his employment
c) What value to the club was gained as a result
d) How many times was he consulted, apart from that by the ref who sent him off.

RED, He didn't have to be a consultant, all he had to do was be a mate for PDC.

I think PDC and Spencer must have sailed right up to the line of right and wrong, what hey have done may be legally right, but in the eyes of many, morally wrong.

A teewhat like that is sueing the club for £140,000! PDC brought his mates in. He was a carp footballer & we probably paid for him, just because he spoke the same language. He failed on the pitch, but then was given another job. But, how did he perform in that post?
