Why pay 40Mil for Suarez and not Hugain

Suarez is better than Higuain. Far far better.

Higuain needs the team around to be clicking. Suarez can score whatever is happening in the game.

That makes Suarez worth the extra £7 or 8 million.

I agree with OP. I am actually gutted we did not get Higuain. His goal ratio and strike ratio last season was only beaten by Ronaldo.

He would have been a great buy for us and we would have got him by now and moved on to other buys.

I like Suarez, always have, not bothered about the baggage he will bring but Liverpool will not sell for less the £50 Mil and we then hope Real Madrid do not do an 11th hour bid (they say they won't but they are crafty bunch of <surfers>

If we do get him for £50 mil thats £15 mil more. That could get us a Defender and a Goalie.

Too late now though, I assume its because Real kept increasing the price and we said 'fúck you'

Kind of depressing that when AFC finally have some serious money available Suarez is the player we go after.

Would even have a lesser player but one with a degree of morality about them.

If he does end up playing for AFC will never be able to warm to him despite his undoubted talent.

Higuain (IMO) would have been a better deal.
