...BBC Sport reports the following:
"FC Barcelona vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu on Cesc Fabregas' future: "It doesn't matter what any offer from Manchester United is - we're not selling him. We're counting on him. He's not for sale.
"If there was a higher offer would we accept it? No. He's a great player. It doesn't bother us that Manchester United want him. We're proud that a club like that wants one of our players."

Carry on watching, their reporter spelled it out. So when it goes back to his slot you will have proof.

Regardless of any clause, it would appear Cesc does not want to leave this summer, and Wenger wouldn't bring him back against his wishes.

I think that should read:
Regardless of any clause, it would appear Cesc does not want to leave this summer, and Wenger couldn't bring him back against his wishes.

I have repeated for a while now pp, that no one knew the exact amount. So the figure was not £25m but actually £34.4m. Thats the amount we sold him for.
But we were aware of the clause, and I tried to explain how it works. Its not up to Cesc to choose. If we match £34.4m Barca have to sell. However as I also said, Arsene NEVER keeps an unhappy player. Arsene said a few weeks ago that Cesc wants to stay at Barca for a year. So Arsene will not activate the clause till Cesc wants to come back.

The buy back clause is 25m not 34.4m.
