Slightly hacked off to see Isaiah Brown has already signed for Chelsea and that he's already played a number of games for their U21 team. Albion are 'braced' to take it to an FA tribunal to sort out the compensation.
Disappointed, but as Brown isn't 17 yet and is therefore unable to sign a pro contract, we couldn't stop him or Chelsea from making their moves. I hope his parents or his agent aren't disappointed when he gets spat out by the Chelsea system after it's chewed him up.
Maybe the next Albion starlet coming through, Albion shouldn't be handing out debuts to, thereby keeping them under the radar until they've signed professional terms.
In any case, I don't see Brown making any impact at Stamford Bridge, certainly not under Mourinho, who will always buy finished article players for as long as Abramovich will fund them. But you never can tell.

If he's good enough Jose will give him a chance. Like he's doing with Kalas this season and will do with Chalobah the season after.
Can't blame him for wanting to test himself at the top level and the fact he supported us a young kid

This is The Baggie Man
Quite frankly Aries, I think the cherry picking by the bigger clubs of talented youngsters found, nurtured and devloped by smaller clubs is a disgrace.
The sooner we as a club withdraw from such an unbalanced and unfair system the better.
Slightly hacked off Aries ? The Baggie Man is furious !

Not only is it impossible for the smaller clubs to compete financially with the mega millions from Abramovitch, the Arabs etc etc, we now find any talent we discover are pinched from under our noses for a pittance with the promise of stardom which, given the numbers of their 'superstars' is highly unlikely to come to fruition.
Just what is the point of the Premiership? We already know who will occupy the top five places before a ball has even been kicked.

Enjoy the cricket and get in with the Barmy Army, Baggie Man.
We only need a draw to retain the Ashes, but here's hoping for an outright win.
