liverpool for sale

anyone think steve morgasn might be interested in buying liverpool ? as they are reported as unnoficialy for sale, ? he is up against some minted investors, but with a consortium he could match the price, and his ownership of wolves would pose a problem, but dont be suprised if he does make a move to get out of wolves, and back in with his beloved liverpool, anyone worried or exited by this prospect, ?

on another note, looking forward to this afternoon , seeing what our kids can do against betis, and i hope we sign some experienced/better players, its alright saying play the kids, but only if they are good enough, and there not,

He would have to do it on the sly if he did. Couldn't see him lasting at Wolves if he had a bid rejected to buy Liverpool.

The reason he didn't buy Liverpool before was because he couldn't afford to. That wont have changed now. Liverpool will be worth a fortune and if sold the likelihood is it would become another club in foreign ownership

It won't be another club in foreign ownership - it is already in foreign ownership.

if he can't afford to keep wolves in the prem I don't think he can afford to buy one liverpool player let alone the team. Apologies for the wum acusation, there are so many wind ups here it's hard to keep track!

I don't know how you put up with Pundit. There are at least 4 posters on here that only turn up on threads with the specific intention of winding you up mate.

no probs bully , i never really believed him when he said his love affair with liverpool was over. with them being unnoficially for sale, as reported in most of the press yesterday, it semed possible his interest may come back,

having had foriegn owners , the fans would prefer a local owner, im sure he would have a lot more financial backing with a consortium at liverpool than he had as a sole benefactor at wolves, liverpool are a huge global brand, so it would be a diferent proposition to how he has run wolves, ( as long as they dont let him pick managers ! ) and the current owners arent fussy who buys it as long as the price is right,

liverpool have denied it is for sale which means it probably is, the leak was just a way of raising interest,

was just an article that may have some bearing on us, which is why i posted it

If Morgan did go could we trust him not to sell out to some senseless middle-eastern playboy or crooked Russian mogul?

Give me a scouse house builder anyday.
