PREDICTOR IS BACK FOR A NEW SEASON

Scottish football is back for a new season so lets put aside all the petty differences and join together to take part in the new Predictor competition for the new season. A safe haven away from the usual nonsense on these boards and a chance to show off your punditry skills.

Each week there will be a chance to predict on six games. The rules are simple. The game relates to league games only. All you have to do is pick the correct score in each game. Predictions have to be made before kick off in the first game in order for you to take part. Late predictions are scruitinised by an independent tribunal (me) to see if they will be accepted. Where there is a split in weekend and midweek matches then you can predict in two stages if you want to see how the weekend matches develop.

Scoring is equally simple. If you pick the correct score you get 5 points. If you pick the correct result but not the correct score you get 3 points. If your prediction is wrong in relation to the result you get SFA.

A league table will hopefully go up weekly and new fixtures should be available every Monday.

We all know Celtic are going to win the SPL, it is likely Hearts will be relegated and that Rangers will win Division 2 so the only prize up for contention this season is PREDICTOR CHAMPION

It would be great if you intend taking part that you participate every week as that is what makes the competition healthy. Failure to predict for four game weeks in a row will lead to removal from the competition.
