Wolves boss KJ hints at goalkeeper exit.

Reading between the lines I think he is hinting at Henners going out on loan and quote.....
Wayne’s been out for 16 months so he’s going to need some time and games.
Should do him good to get some time on the pitch because after saturday with Ikeme getting the nod it looks like Henners is second choice, but if he does go out on loan I hope they put in a clause where we can recall him in case of injuries.
Goalkeeper Exit !!!!!

Maybe its McCarey Kenny's thinking of loaning out.

If it is Hennessey we're talking about, then there may be a method in KJ's madness, to coin a phrase.
He has been out for a long time with a very bad injury. Both cruciate ligaments and the same leg. He stated himself that he needs 90 minutes for football and after making that comment he has 16 out of 180 minutes of playing time.
There is no way we'll get 5m for him either, should we wish to transfer him. More like 2m, I would have thought
The best move would be a short term loan on the understanding that he gets first team football. He may well break down again if he's playing regular football, coupled with training every day.
Let him go on loan for 6 months and then re-assess him.

My "reading between the lines" is Henners will be sold, not loaned-out.
Far too good and far too valuable (once fit) to play in Div 1 for Wolves.
Another of the dross out of the door, eh perton!

Well it's either Henners or Ikeme.
Ikeme could well have let it be known that after a season as first choice here and various loans previously it's first team or nothing.

Ikeme wouldn't command anywhere near the same sort of fee as a fit Henners, Wolfgang. I'm sure it would be he who leaves.

I think wolfie's right on Henners Cyp - can't see as he will have much of a transfer value until he proves his long term fitness
And I think that Ikeme will think its time for regular first team football now - no point going into his 30's a permanent second string.

Cyp, Hennessey is in no way "match" fit just yet, hence he stated himself, that he needs a full 90 minutes. He hasn't got that since he said it. It would therefore make sense to loan him out for now and see how he reacts with regular game time. His value has gone down and we'll not get more than 2m for him (and that's when he's fully fit).

I think we'd sell him for £2million at the moment.

I think you are probably right, 2 million for him at this moment would be about right and i wouldn't be too surprised if we would accept that kind of bid.
IF he gets fit though he should be able to command around 4 mill by the seasons end.
Out of interest, how match fit does a goalkeeper have to be?
Surely a keeper actually exerts a lot more energy in training than in any game?

I agree, match fitness doesn't apply to Keepers. If the two M's can raise a couple of million for WH then he will be out the door like a shot......
