A couple of years ago, only established and well-regarded journalists were allowed to write features because they're one of the pieces where it's allowed to include personal opinion.
Nobody wanted to know what some unknown journo's opinion was.
Nowadays, it seems everybody is allowed to throw his personal view in their articles whereas some time ago the editor would have taken his job if there was anything but FACTS in their article.
