As I recall, we were still in the Prem when "muppet" was sacked.
If MM was a muppet how would you describe the 3 clowns who took us from there to League One in just over a year?

Circumstances changed. The manager was relieved of his duties, and the club subsequently fell apart.
Tumbled down the divisions in fact. A sad story.

In the end the honourable muppet was slowly but surely losing control of the dross & didn't do enough to phase them out & replace them, which was equally Morgan & Moxey's fault.

McCarthy can be blamed for not getting us above being a team fighting against relegation in the Premier League. If he had not been sacked we would certainly not now be in League One given his track record in the Championship. He would either have kept us in the top flight or had us towards the top of the Championship
I am sure that 99% minimum of Wolves fans would rather be fighting against relegation in the Premier League than being in League One. But clearly the likes of Perton and witless are in the 1%

McCarthy can be blamed for not being Mourinho, in the same way as Keogh got stick for not having the abilities of Messi. In that respect i can understand the frustrations of WITLESS and Pert-ones.

A top notch manager is every clubs priority. Unless you get lucky with an up & coming manager you have to pay through the nose to attract a quality manager. Furthermore those managers usually have expensive demands. Mick was a Premiership standard manager, just as his squad was...but a little closer to the bottom than the top. He wasn't Wenger or SAF just as Keogh isn't Messi, and expecting/ demanding someone better really was a not impossible but very unlikely. In the end he was heavily flawed with a definitive limit to his ability...but he was still pretty good.

Paid a fortune for a player with an injury record worse than a des o connor double L. P. . Then we reap the rewards , following season hardly fit hardly played and relegated to boot , and the season after . Hardly fit hardly played and relegated to boot . This guy makes sick note Darren Anderton look like an ever present. Get rid , and next time lets look at a players injury record before we buy him for shed load of Wonga.
