I wanna tell you a story.
I went to watch the Leeds Young guns last night.
Now with only two names in the team worth watching
I was hardly expecting anyone to turn up.
I got to Shelbournes ground about 5 hours ahead of kickoff.
Yes you guessed I was the first there.
Went for a meal in a nearby cafe and
Returned and hour later still I was the only one there.
Started to think the match wasn't on.
Three hours later and out of nowhere thousands of Irish Leeds
Fans were pouring into Tolka Park.
So yes I am proud to say I'm Leeds through and through.
They catered to the throngs of assembled fans by playing
Marching on Together twice to my utter delight.
The match itself was v enjoyable Moffat I think was
His name v impressive but Rudy looked class.
Hall had a good game there was some nice passages of play
And it was exciting for a friendly the score should have been 9-0
Smith looked gangly bit like a young. Beckford missed loads
Of chances but hopefully will find his scoring boots.
You guys will love Hunt this guy has buckets
Of energy and chases everything big worker for the team.
Dawson and Cairns also deserve a pat on the back
Yes guys loads to be optimistic about.
Only sour note was McDermott and the team did not
Acknowledge the large support for their B team at
The end of the game.

OPTIMISTIC YES I AM LISTEN CAREFULLY

Hi Jonty always respect your comments.
Brian did sign autographs and there was a bit of hero worship going on I started the oh Brian McDermott chant.
Have to say the major point is that the name LEEDS means a lot over here.
Oh and Hunt will be a revelation.
Very hard worker ala Alan Smith
And has a few nice moves.
Great to see Leeds still as an international
Brand just ready to be rekindled.
Feel v optimistic them youngs are v talented
The Shelbournes team were chasing shadows and
Hall should be given a start perhaps not in front of 30k maybe suit away games as he froze at Elland Road when he first came on.
Def has ability.

Best mate was at the game, said he had a great night and Rudy was great, took off his shirt there and then and signed it for a young fan and posed for photos with plenty of fans.
Me.....I didn't care

Very kind of you white!
I know, used to work in Belfast and Dublin and massive fanbase there.
Just BM strikes me as the kind who knows the value of rapport with fans.
Who knows, maybe Hunt will sparkle for us!
