Hypothetical situation really just to deflect the attention from the Fabregas saga.
Lets say if both Arsenal and United agree would you trade Welbeck for Walcott with no other fees in between just the plain swap deal.
Walcott swap for Welbeck?

We already have Hernandez, so for us keeping Welbeck would be better and for Arsenal, Walcott. It would be more appropriate to consider a swap between those two than Welbeck. I do think we that loaning out Welbeck again and getting him to play up front as a striker would help him far more than being shunted about.

Swap the next Henry for Walnut. No chance

I'd consider it, Walcott might look clueless a lot of the time but I don't think Arsenal get the best out of him.
Put him wide, and play the passes in behind the full back and he makes/ scores chances, their slow build up stops this.

welbeck >> walcott

IMO Welbeck is better than Walcott now, and he's nowhere near his peak, so no chance.

I don't get how people can say Welbeck is better than Walcott. Walcott regularly puts in match winning performances for Arsenal whereas Welbeck doesn't do that for us.
Of course we have more competition, but even when he was playing up front regularly he still wasn't playing as well as Walcott was.

I'd rather have Welbeck. One day he will sort out his finishing and final ball/pass and then he will be a beast of a player. Walcott is further along the development curve but Welbs has the potential to become the better player in future imo.

It's not hard to look good when you have team mates like Gervinho and Ramsey

True
He's by no means a world beater, but he's a pretty efficient player and wins games for Arsenal. The same cannot be said for Welbeck.
But as misty rightly points out he's further along in his development, but that doesn't change the fact that right now Walcott is a better player.
I do hope Welbeck can gain some of the composure that Theo has in front of goal.
