Where will we finish?

Simple question but where do you expect us to finish come the end of the season?

I'm quite pessimistic so will say 19th

Hopefully I'll be proven wrong and we can hold on to our current spot in 5th place!

Definitely in the bottom 3 with a good few humpings along the way

But i'm not bothered

Hope Gayle will score on his debut for you, and keep you up!

Based on our PL record you would expect us to get relegated, however we are at our best when we're the underdogs! As long as we don't do a Derby I hope to just enjoy the ride

Cheers Thorney. It's always good to see a non-league player do well. Hopefully he can keep us up (then we sell him to Real Madrid for £100m)

Cheers 'Thorney' bud

As for you 'Mon'...................I'd settle for 50mil from Real. Stop being so greedy

I also think bottom 2. The squad reminds me of Reading last season, hard working with a great team spirit but i just don't think that will be enough.

Hello guys.
Here we again and not long to go now.
Everyone that asks me this and I've had a few with the intention of taking the mick, I tell them we only need to find three teams worse than us and I name a few likely candidates and it keeps things in perspective.. Secretly however, I don't think we will find three if we keep too many of the current squad. On my way out of Wembley in May I said we need at least eight new faces and I still think so. I can't see too much happening to be overly positive where the transfer market is concerned. I expect we will pick up a few loan players of course so we might just do it.
But to answer the question truthfully, no I don't think we will stay up. Let's not forget we did play a lot of dire football for some while before getting to the playoffs and there is no hiding place week in week out in the prem. I'm not sure that even if we do get a good few experienced or hungry players in that Ollie can keep playing with the required level of consistency anyway.
Another thing to add is that I don't mind if we go down as I'm looking forward to the season and we did get a shed load of money

When I get asked by non-Palace fans I just remind them we were favourites for relegation last season and look what happened.

There are teams who came close to the drop last season (Sunderland, Aston Villa, Newcastle) and those who might hit the awkward 2nd season syndrome (can't remember who they are) and of course the "surprise" relegation team that hits poor form and after a couple of managerial changes and end up battling for their lives. Now I think about it maybe we should be pressing for Europe!

Come on TUX only £50m? I thought I was the pessimist!

Odds for Palace to win the league

If I win, drinks are on me!
