Just a short article, why are Liverpool targeting another forward when they already have Suarez, Sturridge, Aspas, Borini and Alberto and are definitely definitely DEFINITELY not selling any of them this summer
This isn't an attempt to annoy Liverpool fans more of a hint to some Arsenal fans on here who think there is no hope.
Liverpool and Diego Costa

Alberto has not been playing as a striker for us. The striking department is where we have been lacking the most in recent years, good to see we are addressing this.

Sturridge, Aspas, Costa, Borini AND Suarez? I don't think so.

Lazio are reported to be interested in Borini, and wouldn't be surprised if we lose him. Suarez is banned for six games, and will probably be going next year for definite. Sturridge is recovering from an injury, while Aspas has mainly played as a wide forward in his career.

Borini is still a Liverpool player though. And what do you do when Sturridge and Suarez are available again? They've all cost a decent amount of money, don't think any of them would be happy to warm the bench.
I would be extremely surprised if you signed Costa and kept Suarez.
We'll have to wait and see.

Like I said, I doubt Suarez will very much go next summer, and Costa is already an early replacement (like Mignolet and Reina situation). As for when there all fit, then I don't know why we can't have all three? If were aiming for top four, then we need quality!

Why can't we have a decent option on the bench?
Man utd have had Rooney, Hernandez, Van Persie, Wellbeck in the forward line
Liverpool can have Suarez, Sturridge, Costa and Aspas.
I really do think Borini is on the way out. If a player isn't working out for Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers doesn't keep them too long.
Ie Carroll and Sahin.

But they were different. Carroll was someone else's buy. And Sahin was on loan. Borini is his own signing who he said was exciting when he first arrived. It'll be difficult for Rodgers to bite the bullet should he need to. It'd be interesting to see if he does

Rodgers will bite the bullet if he needs to. Doesn't seem to be one that dithers...
But also, downing looks to be on the way out too. It's a make or break season for us, with no European distractions we have to make this season count. Of tough decisions need to be made so be it.

True
Anyone who doesn't perform this season that didn't perform last will be out (simply because we have no European distraction)
