I doubt it, the SPL is not anything like as tough as the Championship, Norwich or QPR would have finished 3rd in the SPL last season without even breaking a sweat.

Do you mean "Tough" as in the standard of football, or "Tough" as in, hard tackling?

As in you need to be a better team to get out of the Championship than to finish 3rd in the SPL (and saying 3rd maybe being overly kind to Celtic and Rangers).

I still think, with the average quality of defenders & goalkeepers alike, Keano would do quite well in the Championship.



In saying that, Cardiff's goalie was a class act on the day, yesterday.

I feel sorry for you guys, I hope to God Allardyce doesn't do to you what he did to Newcastle.

He has brought in some of the same type of players, Faye being one who he brought in at NUFC.
