We've effectively swapped him for Alberto and I think he's going to be very good for us!

He showed a lot of potential

He just didn't realise it

Too hot headed but without the skill to 'let him off'. He was always a red card waiting to happen. He just didn't have the skill.

I thought his potential was clear to see personally. Might've tried too hard at times but he's still a young lad learning his trade.

Think it's a cracking move for him under a manager who will develop his game. He'll add goals to a side that struggled to score a lot last year.

He played yesterday like he did in our reserves, the reduced pressure suits him at this moment in time, he was playing deep pinging long balls across the pitch a bit like gerrard does in his new deeper role.

One day we might regret selling him for that price, but he seems settled there so good luck to the lad

my exact thoughts

I agree - good luck to him.

He showed plenty of potential, just inconsistent and needs regular game time to improve.

Looks like he will get that at Swansea.

They have got themselves a good long term deal, not that I am disappointed with the price we got.

Good deal for everyone IMO.

He looked decent, some of his long passing was absolutely superb. However, sometimes tried to do a bit too much dribbling despite not really having the ability.
