Monday Headlines.

Wales:
Sympathy for Stoddart: Broke his leg.

"Wales fitter than England" - Roberts
http://www.planetrugby.com/story/0,25883,3557_7086423,00.html

Interesting claim coming from Roberts.. Thoughts?

Really feel for Stoddart. Its a bad blow to get this type of injury right on the door step of the WC. Get well soon and im sure he will be around for the next one.

England:
Moody to undergo scan on knee:
http://www.planetrugby.com/story/0,25883,3556_7087594,00.html

Noting Much more coming form England in terms of news... probably a good sign!

Moody.. Perpetually injured guy. Whats your opinions on Moody? For me he reminds me of BOD. In that his best playing days / form are behind him but Experience and the ability to lead a team make him indispensable!

Ireland:
Kidney refuses to panic after defeat:

Kearney relieved after return:
http://www.planetrugby.com/story/0,25883,3558_7086401,00.html

No reason to panic at all. Its still a big squad and that was our second string side so still we wait to see what our real form is.
Don't care if Rob Kearney feels like he is the out and out best rugby player in the world. Its actions that count... so get on with it Rob and stop talking.

Scotland:
Two warm-ups enough for Robinson
http://www.planetrugby.com/international-rugby-union-teams/scotland/

Realistically he will have 4 warm ups tho the last 2 will be full on WC games, Scotland got a good draw and play the minnows first up so they will or should be hitting peak form by the time they face the Pumas and England.
Robinson doing a good job with Scotland in my opinion.

Shame for stoddart - I wish him well - fair play to Care for stopping the game - who wouldnt though

The Fitnes thing is a non starter - scratching around for positives when its not needed - the bottom line is that Engs defence had a bad day and changes were made after 50-60 mins - Im not sure Englands fitness can be questioned

Ive never been a moody fan Dingbat - one trick pony for me - charge downs enthusiasm - hes getting to old for that now - bit harsh according to some - but thats how I feel - it may stem from the days when we had Neil Back and Richard Hill on our flanks and he was a poor sub - I dont want him anywhere near the team

On a side note though - at the 07 wc final the only player to come over to the fans at the end of the game on the walk around lap was Moody (to get a flag) and he shook 4 peoples hands warmly - mine was the fourth - so I will always have that memory

Def No panic for Ireland - but I know you feel the same as me about putting out a team to win - and that was not a team to win - still onwards!

Robinson is doing a good job - I actually think its a good choice of games for Scotland - and beating Ireland (no matter what team they put out) is a feather in Robinsons cap and a great morale booster for the squad - however - lose v italy next week and its all reversed and twice as bad
