I have been saying this for years now. And today's result is further confirmation. It's no wonder that the Forfar team that creamed us today are known in the dressing room as the Mighty Moffaticans. Jim Moffat's spirit still infuses that team with winning motivation.
Rangers have had 3 opportunities to bring to bring Jimmmyjazz Moffat into the Ibrox/Murray Park set-up and have never been able to 'agree terms'. I have laid out the terms. All big Jimjams is looking for is a a free hand with the training regime, which he models (I'm told) on La Crosse.
Come on Mr Murray and Mr Smith. Cometh the hour, cometh the man.

No, no. I'm not Moffaticus. I'm Valentinus. Pay attention. A platitude is a trite or banal remark passed off as original. Which of mine fits that description? Moff the Toff (as we called him) would, I believe be a real asset and my understanding is that Green rejected him because he was asking for too much money (his bus fare to Milngavie, somebody told me). But this is not a time for pride at Ibrox. This is a time for humility and begging. The fans would stump up, I'm sure. Moffa Moffa would be the cry. You mark my words.

Now that Walter has resigned again, I think that ManMountain Moff's big moment has at last arrived. We need men of vision, courage, ambition, slip-on tan shoes.
