do you not agree that it is hugely bitter of him? I mean he has won 13 majors with tiger, he's won 7 times at Bridgestone before so how doing it again with Adam Scott is more satisfying I'll never know!

It is a clear dig at Tiger Woods and while the attention should be on a great victory for Adam Scott, the headlines focus on what Steve Williams said, with his childish response.

When have caddies publicly spoken to the media anyway? I bet if it wasn't Steve Williams Adam's Scott's caddie would have not been questioned by the media at all, this is clearly an attempt of escalating the story of the caddie split and Steve could not wait to have a pop instead of allowing Scott to have his moment in the sun, very selfish of him!

When does any caddie ever speak to the media after a golf tournament? It was pathetic that not once in his petty, passive aggressive ramblings did he credit Adam Scott for his incredible play. He just made it about him. No one would know who Williams' is nor give a toss what he has to say if it wasn't for Tiger. They guy should just shut up and caddie.

When the caddy is TW's ex? Not rocket science really. I'm sure that winning with a 'sure thing' is good but winning with a 'wannabe' is great! Yeah, Williams may have been too wrapped up in his sacking etc but would'nt you be? Thought so

Erm...that was kinda my point. I was replying to a post that implied that Tiger Woods wouldn't let him talk to the press while under his employ. The point is no one cared what he or any other caddie had to say until now, which is why he is speaking to the press now (and not before).

Its nice to see that everyone has come into the defense of Tiger Woods, and Steve Williams has admitted he may have gone a little overboard this time.

I do blame the press, who obviously wanted to fuel a story up from this, these are just the type of things Tiger Woods has to deal with, a great shame really.
